Frequently Asked Questions

Your Questions, Answered

Do you help treat terminal or chronic illness?

Acupuncture works as an adjunct to Western medicine and not as a replacement.  Acupuncture can help ease some symptoms associated with terminal or chronic illness.

Does acupuncture for stress and anxiety work?

Yes, acupuncture can help reduce stress by calming the nervous system, improving blood circulation, and balancing the body’s energy (Qi). Many clients report feeling more relaxed, sleeping better, and experiencing fewer stress-related symptoms after treatment. If you're interested please feel free to book an initial consultation here

What should I expect from my first session?

At the beginning of your treatment I will take your full medical history and ask you to lie on the couch while I take your pulses. Its best to wear loose, comfortable clothing as I may ask you to remove some items for the treatment - particularly to have access to the lower parts of your legs and arms and abdomen. You will feel the needles but they should not hurt.  Afterwards I will ask you to drink water and maybe have a rest.
